Jonah are you doing okay? a rose won't bloom winters kept you don't waste your whole life trying to get back what was taken away
though the marks on your dress had been neatly repressed
Well come on in and take a seat. The first question today is the easiest of all. What is your name?
Jonah Nathaniel Elwood, no nicknames or anything. Just Jonah.
Oh isn't that a pretty name
If you say so.
Don't have to be so mean about it. So how old are you, and what race are you? You have some major wrinkles...Must be getting up there in age
I’m 209 but I was turned into a vampire at the age of 26, soI have no idea what wrinkles you’re talking about.
Thats what I thought. Well you seem to be in great shape. How much do you weigh and how tall exact are you?
Well, I’m 6’1 I know that for sure. I’m not sure about weight though. Maybe 170, 180 something? I truly have no idea. When you live forever with an unchanging body it’s pointless to care after awhile and back when I was human, people didn’t really weight themselves or care about weight.
So tell me, what color and style is your hair?
My hair is dirty blond, I guess. Maybe more really, really light blond. Guess it depends on what your definition of blond is. I wear it short, I hate having anything on my face or in my eyes. I don't really have a "style". I just let it do it's own thing, it lays in a way naturally that's better than anything I could do myself.
What do you think of homosexuals?
Who am I to judge? I have no right to tell a person whom they can and cannot love. I, myself, like women but that is just me. Everybody's journey is individual. If you fall in love with a boy, you fall in love with a boy. If you fall in love with a girl, you fall in love with a girl.
So why are you here? What is it your hoping to gain?
I'm here to help children who not only have the burden of growing into an adult to deal with but also irrepressible and unruly powers they don't understand fully. I hope to make the transition into adulthood and their full capabilities smoother. Also, I hope to steer them in the right direction and away from the Tabula Rasa mindset.
Alright then. Since this is just going to stay between me and you, tell me a few things that you enjoy doing?
Uhm? Okay. Well, I like watching movies and listening to music. Classic rock, mostly. I like reading a lot, that’s what I do most the time. I play video games with Charles a lot, I always win, that’s my favorite part. I like dranks! Alcohol tastes good. I have to drink enough to give a small village alcohol poisoning to even be tipsy but it’s still fun.
What about things that you can't stand?
Tabula Rasa, they’re violent, power hungry bigots and I will end them. As long as I am alive, they will not reign over humans. Besides those epic fails, I really dislike lazy students who fail my class of their own accord and then like to blame everyone and everything but themselves.
If I gave you a duck, what would you do?
I would eat it. Or drink it rather. Great, now I’m hungry… thanks.
Dang well fine I wont give you a duck!
TEASE!
What are some things you look for in a partner?
I’m not looking for a partner. I have found someone I want to be with and I am only interested in her. She is everything I’m looking for in a significant other.
What are things that just totally turn you off?
Your face! Shallow, vapid woman who only care about partying and shopping and “OMG, Did you hear what Amanda did!” Also, Bad hygiene, and girls who don’t keep up on their shaving, even just stubbly is a total turn off.
Guess that means me and you wont work out.
Too bad, except not really.
Its game time! I am going to ask a few simple no brainer questions, and you answer the first thing that pops into your mind alright?
Okay…
Soda or Juice
Blood.
Tea, Coffee, or Hot Chocolate
Beer.
Favorite Food
Young, hot brunettes. Just kidding, I get my blood from plastic baggies. Don’t freak.
Favorite color
Blue…not wait red.
Favorite type of music
Classic rock! Or hard rock! Any kind of rock except that screamo type stuff.
Favorite time of Day
Anytime the sun isn’t up.
That was fun wasn't it! Now its time to get serious here
Uh oh
Tell me, how would you describe your personality?
Uhm, well…I’m kind of funny, a little sarcastic, flirty. I’m generally nice, unless you don’t deserve it. I have kind of a bad temper but it takes awhile to push me.
Uh-huh..And do you get along with your family?
My family is dead.
If you had to just pick one memory, what would be your best memory?
Meeting Echo…I mean. Dude, fail…that’s awkward. I hope she doesn’t hear about that.
Well thats a joy. What about your worest memory?
Waking up alone as a vampire and killing my entire family in a blood lust craze.
So sorry to hear that. We're almost done now, I bet your excited about this ending.
Gods, yes.
Thought so. Well let me just ask you this: If you were alloted three wishes what would they be and why?
Well first of all, Tabula Rasa would leave humans alone. Then I would wish that all of my students would go on to live happy, successful lives. And the third? To be human again.
Interesting. Well you have three seconds to get out of here before this baby blows up
Blows up? I like blowing things up.[/blockquote]
I knew something was wrong and I should have spoke out and I'm so sorry now I didn't know, 'cause we were so young
CAN YOU STAY STRONG CAN YOU GO ON KRISTY ARE YOU DOING OKAY
---teh Krizz has been stuck on this planet for eighteen, and thats way too long. Thankfully they've found role playing as a means of escape and have been rolling the die on the role playing world for one year, and we're all just so damn impressed with that. Its so sad they live in the pacific time zone, else we'd be so close. Now if they'd just pull down their pants we'd be able to tell if they were a GIRL
Embry sighed as he entered the small, enclosed booth. He closed the door with frosted glass and kneeled before the screen. The tiny door slid back and he could make out the faint silhouette of his priest on the other side. The boy crossed himself as was expected and with a bow of his head, folded his hands on the small ledge there. After a moment’s pause he was welcomed with, “May God, who has enlightened every heart, help you to know your sins and trust in his mercy.”
“Amen,” Embry replied, and then, “Bless me, Father, for I have sinned. It has been one week since my last confession.”
He paused and then at the priest’s gentle coaxing, listed his sins to the man, his anger and envy regarding his brother and his relationship with Belle, his pride and vanity, his sins of the flesh and so on. When he was finished he carefully took note of all the counsel he was offered. He accepted his penance willingly and recited the Act of Contrition verbatim when commanded to do so. At last, he was dismissed and with a considerably lighter heart he exited the confessional, closing the door behind once again. He moved to the front of the church and kneeled again, this time at the altar. He prayed again for help managing his sins and then for those he loved. When he had finished he lit a candle at the table on the side and made his way back to the pew where he had left his things.
With an almost peaceful smile Embry donned his jacket and swung his backpack onto his back. He snatched up his helmet and headed for the exit in the back, fishing for his keys as he did so. His smiled dropped, a jolt of annoyance bringing his mood down as he remembered where he was headed. He sighed at the feeling, wondering if he already had something to confess next Sunday. With a disappointed shrug he jammed his helmet onto his head and climbed onto his glistening black Kawasaki ZZR1400. With a deafening roar his Ninja sprang to life and he was gone, peeling out of the parking lot with a loud screech of rubber on pavement.
He was parked outside Pan’s Pizza in a matter of minutes. He fondly patted the seat of his bike as he climbed off. The motorcycle made transportation so much faster, and in his opinion, easier. He tucked his helmet under his arm and ran his fingers through his dark brown locks, attempting to make it presentable once again. He was satisfied soon with the reflection into the glass window of the pizza parlor and entered, nodding at the employee behind the counter who welcomed him. The youngest Maddyson boy wasn’t surprised to find that his brother had not arrived yet, he would most likely be late, as per usual.
Embry seated himself in the back corner booth without hesitation; they sat in the same place each Sunday for their “family” dinners. He shook off his leather motorcycle jacket, tossing it in the corner of the booth with his helmet. The junior boy loosened the solid black tie he’d worn for mass and removed it, shoving the scrap of cloth haphazardly into his bag as he unbuttoned the top button of his button down shirt. He sighed contently, comfortable at last after feeling choked for half the day. Already bored after only a minute he reached into his bag, pulling from it’s depths his Toshiba Portégé, the tablet laptop he had been given at the end of the last school year. He powered it up and swiveled the screen around, going back to work on a page of comic book style panels he had begun the night before. If he knew Etienne, and he did, he would probably have it and ten other pages done before his older brother arrived.
